A Great Day Out for All the Family with exciting hands-on activities & games to keep the children busy and good food in a relaxing woodland setting!
Take your family for an amazing day out they'll remember forever and talk about for the rest of the summer holidays! The magic starts as soon as you step through the wattle gates and are welcomed by a Celtic character. You can try your hand at Celtic cookery in the Chieftain Roundhouse, then leave it to bake over the hearth as you explore the rest of the camp on a woodland trail. Test your strength with traditional games games in the arena - there are prizes for everyone! You can even become an Archaeologist on the Mock Excavation to dig up the past and have a go at Archery then listen to a Story around the fire.
We have organised the Celtic Games to coincide with the Festival of British Archaeology and the London Olympics 2012 Open Events so that you can be part of a fun packed day:
- Animal Feeding 11am every day
- Warrior Demonstration at 1pm every day

- Woodland Quest
- Craft your own Warrior Pouch
- Make an Olympic Flame
- Harvest Crafts such as Rush Crowns
- Arena Games from Dragon Egg & Spoon Race to Broomstick Race!!
- Traditional Games from the Caber Toss to Discuss
- Meadow Games including Skittles & Sheaf Toss Throw
- Obstacle Course
- Running Races with Swords & Daggers for the winners & prizes for all who take part!
- Children can dress in a celtic tunic & really feel the part!*

Celtic Harmony Camp is a conservation area and education centre, no picnicking please and guide dogs only.
You can take a break and enjoy a range of fresh food from the Summer Menu with a great value children's menu under the Feasting Shelter.

Treat yourself to a relaxing day and a escape to a Hideaway and BBQ Hamper and we will bring you a Gourmet Hamper with aperitif, tasty salads, summer puddings and a cool box with chillded drinks and meats / vegetarian sauages & vegetables to BBQ in your own corner of the woods.
