| Location: | Celtic Harmony Office, 9 The Limberlost, Welwyn, Hertfordshire, AL6 9TS Celtic Harmony Camp, Bourne Wood, is a Celtic Village and outdoor education centre located in 13 acres of woodland. |
| Remuneration: | minimum age up to £7.00/hour (depending on experience) |
| Why we need you: | This is an ideal position for someone interested in the outdoors and the ancient Celtic culture with a background working with children and young people. At Celtic Harmony Camp, Iron Age Village, visitors can 'Step into Celtic Times' and take part in hands-on activities from grinding grain on quern stones to woodland treasure hunts! You will assist in preparation and guiding visitors around activities from tradition games such as caber toss to crafts in the roundhouse. An interest in storytelling is a plus. . |
| Benefits to you: | Full induction training. There will be three days voluntary training and induction. This is an ideal position for someone interested working in an amazing outdoor environment and gaining experience working with children, families and the general public. |
| When: | Part Time 1 - 2 days per week at weekends or 1-3 days during the week, from Sunday 25th July to Monday 30th August. Work is rota based |
| Requirements: | Own transport necessary, experience in working with volunteers and conservation skills and interest in the Celtic culture |
